Hello, I’m Amelie, and my journey has been one of embracing change and pursuing my passions. I studied Investment Management and Economics at Stellenbosch University. Yet, I felt the urge to explore beyond traditional boundaries, which led me to take a leap and work in the fashion industry in Paris as a business analyst. While working in Paris, I still wanted to expand my knowledge and decided to deepen my expertise by pursuing a Master’s in International Project Management at ESCP Business School.

My interest in the property industry has always been strong, and after completing my Master’s, I sought a dynamic environment where I could learn and thrive. Finding Boxwood was a perfect match. The property industry has been a remarkable teacher, constantly reminding me to expect the unexpected and adapt to change. Working in the property industry has been an eye-opening experience. It has taught me invaluable lessons about resilience and adaptability. The market is inherently unpredictable, and success often hinges on one’s ability to navigate unexpected challenges and seize new opportunities. This unpredictability, far from being a deterrent, has reinforced my belief in the importance of embracing change. Adaptability is not just a professional asset; it’s a vital life skill that enables us to thrive in the face of uncertainty.

To my fellow youth, I would like to share a message of encouragement: Always be willing to take leaps of faith. Whether it’s changing industries, pursuing further education, or moving to a new city, each step outside your comfort zone is an opportunity to grow and learn. Embrace the unknown, because it is in these uncharted territories that you will discover your true potential. ~ Amélie Asin
